Solar register for CH communities

Treytorrens The community has added to its unlocked www.treytorrrens.ch large parts of the first Swiss cartographic Solar register to download. It shows that the community can generate significantly more solar energy than it consumes.

The Renewables-Now Aktiengesellschaft (Zurich) delivered according to the company to the community Treytorrens (Payerne) the first fully functional solar cartographic cadastral Switzerland. The solar land analyzes the technical and economic potential to produce on the roofs of buildings in the county (including private buildings) with the technologies of photovoltaic and solar thermal energy. The buildings are shown on a map. A mouse click on a building is in a column next to the map displayed depending on the technology:
• the usable roof area,
• power installable
• The possible energy yield,
• the potential plant investment costs (excluding storage costs),
• some of the economic and environmental benefits (saving-in heating oil, CO2 emissions, Nuclear waste volume, the potential revenues)

Treytorrens The community can now meet their duty to promote renewable energies and to participate in efforts for nuclear phase (Constitution of the Canton of Vaud, 56) better. The community can inform their building owners about the possibilities, even to mutate into energy businesses. Therefore individual building owners can Treytorrens in law for energy (Energy Act Article 4, paragraph 2) for the energy supply in Switzerland responsible.

The community Treytorrens can produce on their roofs more than 400 percent of their annual electricity consumption itself.
