Ab sofort läuft die Anmeldefrist für den Schweizer Solarpreis. Um die Ausbildung von Architekten und Ingenieuren auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik zu fördern, werden zusätzlich zu den bisherigen Preisen zum zweiten Mal Vergaben in der Höhe von CHF 100'000 für die besten PlusEnergieBauten (PEB) in Europa erfolgen, darunter der Norman Foster Solar Award.
PlusEnergieBauten decken mit solargenutzten Dächern und Fassaden ihren gesamten Jahresenergiebedarf für Warmwasser, Heizung und Strom – darüber hinaus liefern sie den Solarstromüberschuss ans öffentliche Stromnetz. Innovative Unternehmer/innen, Solarpreispartner/innen und Solarpreisträger/innen bauten in den letzten Jahren Residential and commercial energy-plus buildings (PEB), which have a power supply of 109-182%. If the prior art, the PEB in the future implemented coverage for renovations and new buildings, Switzerland can replace an energy potential of 170 TWh / a or 22 nuclear power plants. These figures illustrate the huge energy potential in the Swiss building sector.
Who qualifies for the Swiss Solar Prize, is automatically nominated for the European Solar Prize . The 21st Swiss Solar Prize 2011 is awarded in the following categories :
first Persons (natural / legal persons, firms, companies, etc.) and institutions
(Municipalities, public agencies, cantons)
second Building new buildings, renovations
third Systems: thermal solar panels, photovoltaic and biomass plants and geothermal heat
4th plus energy buildings (Norman Foster Award & Solar energy plus built-Solar price)
